What are you going to do?

There are various departments at Luiten, with jobs such as (un)packing, cutting meat, cleaning, operating, slicing, etc., where you can join the team and start building your career.
For example, if you are working in a packing department, you would be responsible for packing/unpacking the products and preparing the orders for shipment. You will make sure that the order is complete, right on time, and looks perfect for the customers.
An important part of the process is cleaning. As an industrial cleaner, you would work with a high-pressure washer and cleaning chemicals to clean machinery, workspaces, knives, floors, walls ceilings, and much more.
As a machine operator, you’re responsible for your machine. Can you keep it running? The challenge to operate the machine without any unnecessary pause is a challenge you gladly accept.

The start time at work is between 05:00 and 08:00 am depends on the department, and the end time is flexible. The work is usually an 8-hour shift, between Monday and Friday, but extra hours and extra days of the weekend are planned according to the operational needs.

Who are you?

You are interested in production work and want to be part of the production process
Experience is not a must, you can learn everything from the team at Luiten. It is more important to be enthusiastic and motivated
You are able to lift 5 to 8 kg and able to stand for a longer time
You are available more than 3 days a week
You are willing to work overtime when needed
You speak English and/or Dutch
You are a team player, but able to work independently as well
You are eager to learn new things
You are able to work in a cold environment, as it's 7 degrees in the production hall
Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding jewelry, nail polish and artificial nails, which are prohibited in food production environments.
