The Packing Department Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of food products in our production facility. You are responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining quality control standards, and adhering to safety regulations throughout the packaging process. Some of the key responsibilities are the following:
  • Carefully packaging meat products according to prescribed procedures and instructions.
  • Properly labeling packages with correct product information, such as expiration date, production batch number, and allergen information.
  • Checking the overall quality of packaged products and reporting any deviations to the supervisor.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Following production schedules and ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Identifying any bottlenecks in the packaging process and brainstorming potential improvements.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Willingness to assist with other production tasks as needed.
The start time at work is between 05:00 and 08:00 am depends on the department, and the end time is flexible. The work is usually an 8-hour shift, between Monday and Friday, but extra hours and extra days of the weekend are planned according to the operational needs. 
Job Requirements
  • You are interested in production work and want to be part of the production process
  • You have experience in the food production field
  • You are willing to work overtime when needed
  • You speak English and/or Dutch
  • You are a team player, but able to work independently as well
  • You are eager to learn new things
  • You are able to work in a cold environment, as it's 7 degrees in the production hall
  • Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding jewelry, nail polish and artificial nails, which are prohibited in food production environments.
