Production Employee

We are looking for a Production Employee who likes to work at a recycling company in Amsterdam. Read the vacancy for more information!

What are you going to do?

As a Production Employee you become part of the production department. There you work in a 3-shift system. The first shift is from 06:00-14:00, the second shift is from 14:00-22:00 and the third shift is from 22:00-06:00. Together with 10 colleagues per team you ensure a problem-free production process. Because the department is always on the move, you have a nice varied job. Within this company there are ample opportunities to grow into, for example, Team Coordinator, Shift Leader, a technical position or maybe you find the quality department a very nice challenge. You work in a strong-smelling environment where it is mandatory to wear work shoes.

Are you not yet an experienced production employee? Even then we have options. Within 4 months you will be able to start and within 1 year you will be an adult production employee. You operate the equipment, monitor the process and take action if deviations occur. You monitor production quality and ensure a clean workplace. You also control and control the supporting processes (think of energy, residuals, etc.). You fix minor malfunctions and carry out first-line maintenance independently.

Who are you?

You have a perceptibly positive, proactive and result-oriented attitude. Safety, quality, continuous improvement, flexibility and personal entrepreneurship characterize you. You have at least MBO working and thinking level. You have an affinity with production processes. Experience with or knowledge of continuous improvement processes and methodologies. You have good communication skills and you master the English language.

Where will you work?

The recycling company is located in Amsterdam, where they work daily with innovative solutions for recycling plastic waste. The plastic is finely ground so that it can be reused for new products.
