(Assistent) Teamleader

We are looking for an (assistant) Team Leader who likes to work at a fruit and vegetable company in Venlo. Read the vacancy for more information!

What are you going to do?As (assistant) Team Leader you are responsible for the daily management in the workplace. Together with your fellow team leaders, you manage a group of line managers, operators and production employees. You account for the daily production data, explain the deviations and present the results. In addition, you facilitate your team where necessary and you develop working methods and work instructions. You are also responsible for coaching and developing employees and you find it a challenge to proactively come up with improvement proposals.The working hours are between 22:00 - 06:30 and 06:30 - 15:00. You work with a clock pass, which you clock in when you start and clock out when you finish. It is also mandatory to wear work clothes and work shoes. Your workplace has an ambient temperature of 4 degrees.

Who are you?

•       MBO4 working and thinking level;
•       Relevant work experience in a comparable position within a production environment;
•       Command of the Dutch and/or English language in word and writing;
•       A born leader, with a 'heart' for people, who knows how to support, inspire and develop a team;
•       Affinity with production processes and their improvement;
•       Flexibility and stress resistance: In the world of fresh produce you have to deal with a lot of dynamics and no day is the same.

Where are you going to work?The company is located in Venlo where fruit and vegetables have been cut and processed every day for more than 50 years. Ready-to-cook vegetables, processed fruit and meal salads are made from fresh raw materials. These are supplied to supermarkets, fast food chains, wholesalers, catering companies and inflight caterers.
