Operator A

We are looking for an Operator A for a fruit and vegetable company in Venlo. Read the vacancy for more information!

What are you going to do?A chicken, tuna, salmon or vegetarian salad? You don't turn your hand around for it. You keep your head cool and thanks to you the salads roll smoothly off the belt. As Operator A, you ensure that the production line assigned to you runs as optimally as possible so that we can produce according to the standard, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Enforcement of the regulations in the field of quality and safety is a requirement. In addition, you are involved in the following tasks:

•         Setting the machine to the required values;
•         Monitoring production progress and starting and closing orders in systems;
•         Exchange packaging materials for the next order.
•         Anticipate deviations in the process and product and escalate where necessary to the Assistant Team Leader or Team Leader.
•         Conducting metal detection tests and other quality registrations.
•         Checking and adjusting automated processes where necessary.
•         Ensuring that the standards set for the quality systems and Hessing house rules are observed.
•         Keeping the production line clean and tidy during the production process.
•         Assembly and conversion of equipment / machine.
•         Registering process and production data of the line.
•         Provides line-level handover to the next service.
•         Is responsible for the order and tidiness (5S) of the line.
•         Is actively aware of the production planning and monitors the progress of the line;
•         Instructing and supervising employees on the line.
•         Compliance with (Food Defense) measures for the integrity of raw materials and end products.

At this job it is mandatory to wear work shoes.

Who are you?

•         You have an MBO 2/3 work and/or thinking level.
•         You have relevant knowledge or work experience in a similar position.
•         You master the Dutch and/or English language in word.
•         You have knowledge of HACCP and BRC
•         You are technically versed (feeling with IT systems).

Where will you work?The company where you come to work cuts and processes fruit and vegetables. They have been doing this for over 50 years. They process the fresh raw materials into ready-to-cook vegetables, processed fruit and meal salads, among other things.
