How to build a strong CV without Dutch experience

Think of motivation, flexibility, or the willingness to learn new things. This way, an employer immediately gets a good impression of you.
After that, describe your work experience. All experience counts, even if it was gained in your home country. Focus on what you have done and what skills you have developed. Use simple and internationally recognizable job titles, so recruiters quickly understand what kind of work you have done.
Practical skills are important. Think of experience with machines, physical work, working with scanners, or following safety rules. If you have certificates, such as a forklift certificate, always clearly mention them on your CV. This increases your chances of employment.
Also be honest about your language proficiency. You don’t need to speak Dutch yet to be able to work. Many international employees start with English and learn Dutch while working. That is normal and accepted, as long as you are open about it.
