What Do You Earn on Average per Position?
The salary in logistics depends on your position, experience, and working hours. These are the average gross hourly wages based on a full-time work week (38-40 hours):
- Order picker: €13.50 to €15.50 per hour
- Warehouse employee: €14 to €16 per hour
- Forklift or reach truck driver: €14.50 to €17 per hour
- Operator or team leader: from €16 per hour and higher, depending on experience
Do you work in shifts or at special times? Then attractive bonuses are often added on top of that.
What Bonuses Can You Expect?
In logistics, you regularly work in early, late, or night shifts. These often come with bonuses. These can add up to 30%, 50%, or even 100% extra on your hourly wage, depending on:
- Time of your shift (evening, night, or weekend)
- CBA agreements with the client
- National holidays or overtime
This way, a standard hourly wage of €14.50 with bonuses can easily increase to €20 or more per hour during night hours or Sundays.
