We are looking for a Compliance Officer for our partner Van der Helm Logistics.

Are you someone who has a keen eye for detail, works in a controlled manner, and is interested in changes in legislation and regulations in the logistics world? Do you want to ensure that our organization complies with all legislation, licensing, and quality standards? Then this role is perfect for you!

What will you be doing?

Because laws and regulations are constantly changing and the requirements for permits and certifications are becoming increasingly stringent, we are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Team. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of the internal quality management system.

No two days are the same, because your work relates to all our logistics activities: warehousing, customs, and shipping by sea or air.

Your responsibilities:

  • The administrative processing of requirements from permits and certifications (ISO9001, AEO, BRC S&D, GMP+);
  • Processing and following up on the internal quality management system, including:
    • Processing results from internal training courses
    • Conducting and following up on internal audits
    • Registering and following up on non-conformities (NCRs)
    • Compliance checks in the context of risk management
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and regulations relevant to all our logistics activities
  • Supporting inspections by external authorities
Job Requirements
  • Completed vocational or higher professional education in a relevant field (e.g., quality management, logistics, or business administration).
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language at a communicative level is mandatory, both written and spoken.
  • Affinity with compliance and quality in logistics.
  • You are analytical, work in a structured manner, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with quality standards or certifications (such as ISO9001, AEO, BRC S&D, and/or GMP+) is a strong advantage.
