Are you a go-getter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? At our highly automated e-commerce distribution center in Venlo, we are looking for all-round logistics talents to strengthen our team.
As an order picker, you will be using a scanner worn on your wrist to pick products in a warehouse. Here's how it works: Receiving the trolley: At the start of your task, you will receive a trolley (a cart) where you will place the picked items. As a DC employee, you will work in various departments within the distribution center: inbound, outbound, internal transport, and at our automatic sorting machine.
You may help process incoming goods, collect and prepare orders for shipment, or support the automatic sorter. Moving pallets around our massive 110,000-square-meter DC is also part of the job. You jump in where needed – together, we keep the operation running smoothly.
Job Requirements
- Load and unload trucks/containers
- Preferably you have drivers license and willing to drive company car
- You are speaking English
- Process incoming goods
- Collect and process orders
- Support the automatic sorting machine
- Move pallets within the DC using an electric pallet truck
- Check quantities, quality, and correct labeling
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments

About the company
The e-commerce distribution center of the supermarket chain is located in Venlo. The new company is responsible for the logistics services of the e-commerce activities. From here, non-food items are collected daily and sent to webshop customers throughout Western Europe.
