Charlie works values privacy and the trust we receive to handle personal data and privacy with care. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. The statement will be adjusted when necessary.

Charlie works collects personal data for various purposes. This includes personal data from applicants, temporary workers, employees, business contacts, and website visitors.

Applicants, temporary staff and employees

Charlie works processes personal data of applicants, potential candidates, temporary staff and employees. This data is collected to be able to perform the services, including staffing, mediation, payroll, recruitment & selection, in- and on-lending, personal development, reintegration, organizing housing, planning and personnel and salary administration. This data is collected in the context of:

  • a legitimate interest
  • to comply with the legal obligation
  • to be able to properly execute the agreement we have agreed with you
  • (in case of housing) based on your consent

Business relations

Charlie works works with personal data of business relations. The reason for collecting personal data of business relations is to make offers, provide information about the services, maintain a business relationship and to conclude or maintain a contract agreement.

What data is processed per category?

Different categories are processed within Charlie works:

  1. Data processing of applicants, temporary staff, employees of suppliers and employees for the performance of services

    3. Documentation: CV, possibly motivation
    4. ID data (if legally required)
    5. Work data: availability, work experience, education, certificates and passport photo on a voluntary basis

Rights

You have the right to know at all times what personal data of you is available. You have the right to access, correct, delete, limit or transfer the data. If the processing of your personal data has been granted on the basis of consent, you may withdraw this at any time. Security

At Charlie works, personal data is handled with care. We do everything we can to optimally protect personal data and are bound by a confidentiality clause and company policy regarding IT security. In addition, only authorized employees may view and process your data if they need that data in the performance of their duties. Charlie works has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data of data subjects against loss or unlawful processing.

Retention periods

Charlie works stores personal data in accordance with the regulations applicable to us. If your employment with Charlie works ends, we will delete the personal data no later than two years after the last working day. There are some exceptions, such as:

  • Administrative documents are kept for 7 years. This includes salary administration, temporary employment contract and, if applicable, pension obligations. This is the so-called fiscal retention obligation.
  • We keep requests for payroll tax credit, NAW data, BSN, date of birth and copies that are necessary to check identity for at least 5 years. This is calculated from the end of the calendar year in which the employment relationship ended.
  • In the event of complaints or claims, we only store necessary data until there is a definitive settlement or until the claim is time-barred

Changes

Charlie works reserves the right to make changes (for various reasons, such as changes and additions) to the privacy statement. The most current privacy statement can be viewed at all times on the Charlie works website. We advise you to regularly view and read the statement.
