Thanks to a permanent pool of employees distributed among Van der Helm’s various staff, we are able to provide the required capacity each year. An average of 25 temporary employees work in Moerdijk, 35 in Den Hoorn and 15 in Hoofddorp, with an average of 50 employees throughout the year. Charlie works knows well what profiles are needed for the various positions and these profiles are clearly defined with the recruiters.
During peak times, there is often a Charlie in-house client consultant on site, which helps with troubleshooting and quick turnaround with staff. This is considered very valuable by Van der Helm Logistics, especially in Moerdijk, where Charlie even has a permanent office space. This proximity allows the company to respond more quickly to staffing needs.
