Expedition Worker

As an Expedition worker, you are part of the Outbound department. It is your responsibility to prepare store orders for shipment so that the truck drivers can leave for the Action stores on time. You are part of a team responsible for preparing store orders for shipment. These store orders are on roll containers that you take from other departments in the warehouse. You ensure that these roll containers are loaded via the truck’s tail lift and placed neatly in the truck. Roll containers are wrapped manually. You work with hand scanners when processing the flow of goods from the distribution center. For example, you scan all roll containers that go into the truck trailer.

You work an average of 38 hours per week. There are two shifts: the first starts at 6:00 AM and the second at 3:15 PM. The end times are flexible. On Saturdays, there is only a morning shift. Action works with a time card system. Additionally, it is mandatory to wear safety shoes.
