We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for our Payroll department.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that payroll for our temporary employees is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulations. You combine professional payroll expertise with a keen eye for laws and regulations. 

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire payroll process and will assist your colleagues with complex payroll and regulatory issues.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely, accurate, and complete payroll processing for temporary workers
  • Applying and monitoring laws and regulations related to payroll administration
  • Handling complex payroll issues
  • Conducting checks and audits of payroll administration
  • Identifying risks and opportunities for improvement within payroll and back-office processes
  • Communicating legislative changes to the organization and providing support with reporting and corrections
  • Working with payroll, back-office, and time-tracking systems 
Job Requirements
You are a meticulous and proactive payroll professional who looks beyond just the numbers.

  • You have completed a PDL program (or equivalent) and have several years of experience in payroll, preferably in the staffing industry
  • You have in-depth professional knowledge of:
    • Payroll calculations, taxes, and social security contributions
    • ABU/NBBU collective bargaining agreements and labor laws
    • Payroll regulations
  • You work in a structured, accurate, and results-oriented manner and are a strong team player
  • You communicate clearly and can explain complex matters in an understandable way
  • You think in terms of solutions and are not afraid to be critical within the framework of laws and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience working with Mysolution
  • You are digitally savvy and quickly get the hang of new systems
  • An SEU certificate is a plus, or you are willing to obtain one
