Expedition worker

As an Expedition worker, you are part of the Outbound department. It is your responsibility to prepare store orders for shipment, so that the truck drivers can depart on time for the Action branches.
You are part of the team responsible for preparing store orders for dispatch. The store orders are on roll containers that you take over from other departments in the warehouse. You ensure that these roll containers are loaded via the truck’s tail lift and placed neatly inside the truck.

When processing the flow of goods from the distribution center, you work with hand scanners. You use these to scan all roll containers that are placed on the truck’s trailer. Wearing safety shoes during work is mandatory.
You work an average of 38 hours per week. There are two shifts: the first starts at 6:00 AM and the second starts at 3:00 PM. The end times are flexible. On Saturdays, there is only a morning shift.
