Storage Forklift Driver and EPT

As a Storage warehouse employee, you are responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations. This is a physically active position where you help move and store goods safely and efficiently. You will work according to a step-by-step rotation system. You will start on the EPT and, once you are comfortable and performing well, progress to the OPT, which can lift goods up to approximately 1.80 metres. After successfully gaining experience with the OPT, you will also be trained to operate the reach truck. This system allows you to gradually develop your skills and work with different warehouse machines while ensuring that goods are handled safely and efficiently. Working hours are from 07:00-16:00.

Regardless of which truck you are driving, you will always earn the same €16.04

Other important things that belong to this job:

Step 1 – Basic Training
New employees generally start with Wrap & Strap.
You will learn how to:
Work with a scanner.
Build pallets correctly.
Check orders and quantities.
Wrap and strap pallets safely.
Measure and label pallets.
Work according to safety and quality procedures.

Step 2 – Cross-Training
Once the basic activities are performed correctly and consistently, you can be trained in additional activities, such as:
Pallet handling / EPT operation
Reachtrucking
Order picking
Truck loading
Other activities within the Shipping & Dispatch department

Your main tasks:

Direct Pick-up (DP) – Put-away – EPT

• Scan incoming pallets and follow system instructions.
• Check pallets and goods for damage and safe stacking.
• Use the reach truck to store pallets in the correct warehouse location.
• Confirm locations and movements accurately in the scanner.
• Report damage, discrepancies and unsafe situations.

Replenishment – Keep pick locations stocked – Reach truck

• Follow replenishment tasks through the scanner.
• Collect the correct products from the assigned storage location using the reach truck.
• Check articles and quantities before moving them.
• Replenish pick locations accurately and on time.
• Report shortages, damage or location discrepancies.

OPT Picking – Order picking

• Pick products accurately according to scanner instructions.
• Safely operate the OPT order-picking truck.
• Check locations, products and quantities.
• Handle products carefully and place them safely on the designated load carrier.
• Confirm completed picks in the system and report any discrepancies.
