Teamleader Egg breaking department

The purpose of this position is to ensure optimal output of liquid egg products in accordance with customer specifications and the production planning provided by the Planning Department, while adhering to existing IFS/BRC guidelines.
As Shift Supervisor, you are the first point of contact for the Egg Breaking Department and report to the manager. Together with the other production employees, you are responsible for ensuring that the entire internal process runs efficiently and effectively, in accordance with guidelines concerning quantity, costs, and timely delivery.
You are responsible for safety, organization, and hygiene in the production department. This also means coordinating, monitoring, and adjusting activities where necessary. This position requires someone who is flexible, can work outside a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, and is confident and resilient.

In short, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing, coaching, and motivating employees during the shift.
• Planning and coordinating daily production.
• Monitoring production schedules, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP, hygiene, safety, and company regulations.
• Identifying and resolving malfunctions and bottlenecks in the production process.
• Carrying out quality checks and recording production data.
• Training and supporting new employees during their onboarding.
• Actively contributing to improvements in processes, efficiency, and cooperation.
• Working closely with the Production Manager, Technical Department, and Quality Department.
• Supervising and adjusting the process in the Egg Breaking Department and Shells Department, including the supply and removal of materials and products.
• Keeping the machines, materials, and the entire department clean (Egg Breaking Department and Shells Room).
• Managing the cleaning schedule for the Egg Breaking Department.
• Being present on the production floor before the start of the shift to start up the machines.
• Ensuring a proper handover of information to the next Shift Supervisor at the end of the shift.
