For our client Luiten, we are looking for an Industrial Cleaner to make sure the production area is clean and ready to run production. Do you have such experience and would like to work in a company that produces premium artisan meat products?
As an industrial cleaner, you would work with a high-pressure washer and cleaning chemicals to clean machinery, workspaces, knives, floors, walls ceilings, and much more. You have to also be prepared to work in a wet environment due to the nature of the work.
Some of the main responsibilities are the following:
- Perform thorough cleaning of production equipment, machinery, and surfaces to remove dirt, debris, and food residues
- Follow cleaning procedures and protocols outlined by the company, including the use of appropriate cleaning agents and sanitizers
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for cleaning purposes, ensuring all components are properly sanitized
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials according to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for ongoing cleaning tasks.
The start time at work is between 08:00 and 09:00 am depends on the department, and the end time is flexible. The work is usually an 8-hour shift, between Monday and Friday, but extra hours and extra days of the weekend are planned according to the operational needs.
Job Requirements
- You are physically fit and able to do standing and lifting work.
- Experience is not a must, you can learn everything from the team at Luiten. It is more important to be enthusiastic and motivated.
- You speak English and/or Dutch.
- You can work in a team and independently.
- You are able to work in a production enviroment with a temperature from 7 degree
- You are available during peak periods (December and Easter).
- Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding All visible jewelry, piercings, false nails/eyelashes, or nail polish, which are prohibited in food production environments.
Employment conditions
- €0,21 Allowance per hour, for working in a 7 degree environment.
- Annual December bonus of 3,25% of gross salary (with the condition of working at least 2 months in Luiten).
- Employment contract with Charlie works.
