For our employer Luiten, we are looking for an industrial cleaner who ensures the production area is clean and ready for production. Do you have such experience and do you want to work at a company that makes artisanal premium meat products?

As an industrial cleaner, you work with a high-pressure cleaner and cleaning agents to clean machines, workstations, knives, floors, walls, ceilings, and much more. Due to the nature of the work, you must also be prepared to work in a wet environment.

Some of the main tasks include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning production equipment, machines, and surfaces to remove dirt, residue, and food particles
  • Following the company’s cleaning procedures and protocols, including the use of the correct cleaning and disinfecting agents
  • Disassembling and reassembling equipment for cleaning where necessary, ensuring all parts are properly disinfected
  • Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste according to company policy and applicable regulations.
  • Checking and replenishing cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring they are always available for ongoing cleaning activities.

The start time is between 08:00 and 09:00 AM, depending on the department, and the end time is flexible. You usually work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, but extra hours and additional days on weekends are scheduled based on operational needs.

Job Requirements
  • You are physically fit and able to do standing and lifting work.
  • Experience is not a must, you can learn everything from the team at Luiten. It is more important to be enthusiastic and motivated.
  • You speak English and/or Dutch.
  • You can work in a team and independently.
  • You are able to work in a production environment with a temperature from 7 degrees
  • You are available during peak periods (December and Easter).
  • Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding all visible jewelry, piercings, false nails/eyelashes, or nail polish, which are prohibited in food production environments.
Employment conditions
  • €0.21 allowance per hour for working in a 7 degree environment.
  • Annual December bonus of 3.25% of gross salary (with the condition of working at least 2 months at Luiten).
  • Employment contract with Charlie Works.
  • Housing at a close distance.
  • Free electrical bike for transport to work, paid by Luiten.

Luiten is a family business with a passion for producing artisan meats. Their production process Luiten is a Dutch company specialized in producing the most delicious meat products. For example: they produce Dutch products such as: Filet Américain, ossenworst, and rosbief. Their products find their way to supermarkets, wholesale, and various lunchrooms and restaurants. Quality is the most important value of Luiten and therefore, all of their products are a premium product.
