Do you want to build a career in food production? Do you want to work for one of the largest production companies specializing in meat products?

As a packaging department employee, you are responsible for the accurate and efficient packaging of finished food products according to company and customer specifications. You ensure that products are correctly labeled, sealed, and prepared for shipment, with a focus on high quality and food safety standards. You work in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, precision, and attention to detail are essential. Keeping your workplace clean and hygienic according to HACCP and food safety regulations is an important part of your daily tasks.

Some of the main tasks include:

  • Carefully packaging meat products according to prescribed procedures and instructions.
  • Correctly labeling packaging with the right product information, such as expiration date, production batch number, and allergen information.
  • Checking the overall quality of packaged products and reporting deviations to the supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • You are interested in production work and want to be part of the production process.
  • Experience is not a must, you can learn everything from the team at Luiten. It is more important to be enthusiastic and motivated.
  • You are able to lift 5 to 8 kg and able to stand for a longer time.
  • You speak English and/or Dutch.
  • You are able to work in a 7 degrees production hall.
  • You are available during peak periods (December and Easter).
  • Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding all visible jewelry, piercings, false nails/eyelashes, or nail polish, which are prohibited in food production environments.
Employment conditions
  • €0.09 allowance per hour for working in a 7 degree environment.
  • Annual December bonus of 3.25% of gross salary (with the condition of working at least 2 months at Luiten).
  • Employment contract with Charlie Works.
  • Housing at a close distance.
  • Free electrical bike for transport to work paid by Luiten.

About the company

Luiten is a Dutch company specialized in producing the most delicious meat products. For example: they produce Dutch products such as: Filet Américain, ossenworst, grillworst and rosbief. Their products find their way to supermarkets, wholesale, and various lunchrooms and restaurants. Quality is the most important value of Luiten and therefore, all of their products are a premium product.
