Inbound magazijnmedewerker

As a inbound heftrucker, EPT operator, and container unloader, you are responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations. This is a physically active warehouse position where you are involved in the entire logistics process. Your work will follow a rotation system, meaning your tasks will vary throughout the week. On one day, you may be working hands-on with boxes and unloading containers; on another day, you may be operating an EPT, while on another day you may be working as a heftrucker. This rotation ensures that you are involved in different parts of the warehouse process and keeps the work varied. You are an important part of the overall warehouse process and help ensure that goods are handled safely, efficiently, and according to procedures.
Working hours: 07:00–16:00

Step 1 – Basic Training
New employees generally start with Wrap & Strap.
You will learn how to:
Work with a scanner.
Build pallets correctly.
Check orders and quantities.
Wrap and strap pallets safely.
Measure and label pallets.
Work according to safety and quality procedures.

Step 2 – Cross-Training
Once the basic activities are performed correctly and consistently, you can be trained in additional activities, such as:
Pallet handling / EPT operation
Reachtrucking
Order picking
Truck loading
Other activities within the Shipping & Dispatch department

Container & Truck Unloading

• Manually unload goods from sea containers — this is an important part of the role.
• Build pallets according to the required stacking standards.
• Ensure pallets are stable, secure and protected from damage.
• Unload palletised goods using an EPT or forklift after the required training and authorisation.
• Report damage and other discrepancies.

Pallet Wrapping & Securing

• Check that products are stacked correctly and safely.
• Inspect products and packaging for visible damage.
• Secure pallets using strapping and/or stretch film.
• Ensure pallets are ready for safe storage and the next step in the process.
• Report any quality or safety issues.

Spider Inbound – Internal Pallet Transport

• Collect received pallets from the unloading docks.
• Move pallets safely to the designated warehouse locations using an EPT.
• Scan and confirm pallet movements in the warehouse system.
• Keep unloading areas and transport routes clear.
• Support a smooth and efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.
