As a Recruiter at Charlie works, you play an essential role in finding, selecting, and placing motivated temporary workers with our clients.
You are responsible for managing the recruitment process, from identifying potential candidates and conducting interviews to matching workers with suitable job opportunities.
You understand that successful recruitment requires more than simply filling vacancies. You actively build candidate pipelines, maintain strong communication with applicants, and work closely with operational teams to ensure that the right people are available at the right time.
You are proactive, creative, and determined to achieve results. When recruitment becomes challenging, you do not wait for solutions to appear. You actively explore alternative sourcing channels, approach potential candidates, and take the necessary steps to achieve staffing targets.
You combine a people-oriented approach with a strong commercial and operational mindset, understanding the importance of recruitment quality, speed, efficiency, and the overall interests of Charlie works.
This is a full-time position within our recruitment team.
Here is what you will be in charge of:
- You actively recruit, screen, and select suitable candidates for temporary employment opportunities with our clients.
- You manage the recruitment process from initial candidate contact and interviews to selection, placement, and coordination of the onboarding process.
- You proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, recruitment platforms, referrals, and other relevant channels.
- You build and maintain a strong pipeline of available candidates, ensuring that recruitment activities are aligned with current and expected staffing requirements.
- You conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability, and match applicants with positions based on their skills, experience, availability, and client requirements.
- You maintain regular communication with candidates, providing clear information about job opportunities, employment conditions, and the recruitment process.
- You work closely with planners, account managers, and operational colleagues to understand staffing needs, priorities, and recruitment challenges.
- You actively monitor recruitment progress and take immediate action when candidate availability or placement targets are at risk.
- You identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase the quality and success of placements.
- You maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information, recruitment activities, and placement records in our internal systems.
- You monitor relevant recruitment KPIs, including candidate applications, interviews, placements, conversion rates, and time-to-fill.
- You proactively follow up with candidates, minimize dropouts, and contribute to a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- You identify recurring recruitment challenges and actively contribute ideas and solutions to improve sourcing strategies and operational results.
- You ensure that recruitment activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
- You consistently balance candidate suitability, client requirements, operational needs, and the broader interests of Charlie works.
Functievereisten
- You have an MBO/HBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking ability
- You have experience in recruitment, candidate sourcing, HR, sales, or a similar people-oriented position, or you are highly motivated to develop your career in recruitment.
- You have strong communication skills in English and/or Dutch and/or Polish or other Eastern-European languages, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Polish or other Eastern European languages is considered a strong advantage.
- You are socially skilled, enthusiastic, and confident in approaching and communicating with people from different backgrounds.
- You are proactive, resourceful, and results-driven, with a strong sense of responsibility for achieving recruitment targets.
- You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to take immediate action when recruitment challenges arise.
- You are persuasive, communicative, and capable of building trust and maintaining positive relationships with candidates.
- You are well-organized and able to manage multiple vacancies, candidates, and recruitment processes simultaneously.
- You are comfortable working with recruitment KPIs, targets, and performance indicators.
- You are flexible, solution-oriented, and capable of adapting quickly to changing staffing requirements.
- You work accurately and systematically, ensuring that candidate information and recruitment activities are properly documented.
- You understand the importance of speed, quality, and operational efficiency within the staffing industry.
- You are comfortable working with digital recruitment platforms, social media, and administrative systems.
- Experience in international recruitment or recruiting temporary workers is considered an advantage.
